![]() If the reactor is submerged, put three fuel rods in it in order to keep it working. Remember that the breach came from something, meaning that you might need to look out for wildlife. Always seal off the source of a hull breach before turning on the pump. You can deconstruct them for liquid oxygenite and make an oxygenite tank with the materials. If you're searching an alien ruin, consider taking oxygenite shards with you. Oxygen tanks are used by plasma cutters, breathing masks and atmospheric diving suits.Ĭonsider searching these things when you're running low on oxygen. You might need to refill later on! The airlock usually has a lot of them. Always make sure you know where oxygen tanks are. Always carry a breathing mask with you, since hull breaches are the most common threat. Go to the airlock, close the door behind you, open the door ahead of you and die a honorable death. If you know it's too late, make sure it's not for your team. If no doctor is available look for a medicine called calyxanide and take it. If you got attacked by something in a diving suit (husk), report to a doctor as soon as possible because if you don't get medical attention you will die and the parasite that infected the diver will get you too. If you try to equip them in your hand you will handcuff yourself and it will look really stupid when the guy who gets you out of them asks how that happened. In order to use handcuffs first incapacitate a perpetrator, grab them and put the handcuffs in their arms. If their bar is empty, they need medicine. If they still have health left, consider giving them CPR. Unconcious people will have a health bar as opposed to a corpse. They are known to cause fires, attract creatures and remove all the air in a room. (since 0.8 the efficiency of underwater scooters has been increased) Consider equipping another battery if you feel like making two rounds around the ship. Underwater scooters eat through batteries faster than an african village through an all-you-can-eat buffet. Recharge your stuff! Even if you don't need it anymore doesn't mean someone else doesn't need it either later on. You don't want to be that guy who is about to save the day only to find out that their welder doesn't have a canister. Be sure to check your items if they aren't empty. Load railgun shells and depth charges with C4 so they one-shot small wildlife, and two-shot most medium-sized wildlife. Always carry a welder with you, because you might be the only one who can fix a breach in time. Engineer and mechanic outfits can function as a makeshift backpack. Some clothing items can hold other stuff. Basically things most people overlook or don't know about. These calls have even been known to reach infrasound levels, and some expeditions have mistaken their presence for alien artifacts within alien ruins.I wrote a list of stuff that might come in handy. Molochs are very vocal creatures, and are capable of emitting a surprisingly varied amount of tuneful notes, which vaguely resemble the calls of Earth whales. Molochs are especially defensive when rearing their pupae. This is possibly due to misidentification for another Moloch or a larger predator, and they could be doing this as a defensive tactic to drive the threat away. Interestingly, these creatures are dangerous to expeditions, but not directly towards divers as they tend to focus their attacks on approaching vessels and loud devices. The Moloch can either ram into its targets or whip them with its tentacles. It protects their soft innards from predators and projectiles. The Moloch's shell serves as both defensive and offensive capabilities. They emit strikingly tuneful notes, stronger and higher in tone when the creature attacks. The ballast sac, or core body, can pulsate to provide propulsion. Molochs are blind, and rely on using echolocation to navigate the ocean. Underneath the ballast sac, the "skirt" is made of thinner black tendrils. On the front, three elongated dark brown tentacles protrude off the shell. The Moloch's large dark blue shell covers most of its main body, which seems to be mostly made of the creature's "ballast sac". Molochs bear a resemblance to an extinct Earth creature known as Dollocaris. The Moloch is a very large, ponderous, jellyfish-like creature found within Europa's vast oceans. ![]()
